Research + Development

The proposal composition for this 14 x 12 ft. mural was developed in small scale using luscious source material filled with planets and foliage. The pieces were then scanned and enlarged, keeping the 4-colour, printed dot structure intact. Printed on Tyvek and cut again, the now large-scale components were assembled on site in the space. Leftover cut away shapes were used as a guide for the wall painting, incorporating colour from the large collage piece that is the central focus of the mural.
